Moving

I really dislike moving.

But, it is even more strange moving into house that I won't really be living in until after I am married.

So in some respects, I feel like I am living in two places at once. Half of my stuff at the new house and half at my old apartment.

The bright side is the new house is going to be fantastic. It's pretty fun unpacking and trying to decide how to set it all up. It will be even more fun when we start deciding how to decorate and really get settled again.

I guess both fun and weird because I won't be "settled in" until July.

OK, I can probably relate on some level. I am "settled in" to three houses and not really settled into any of them. If I can do it for an indefinite period of time, you can probably do it for a month or two. I'm excited for you and yur new house and new life! The weirdness won't last long. Aunt Lynda

I also hate moving. It is even worse when you have kids - there is so much stuff! I am sure you will enjoy your home and putting everything in order. Have fun!

Fun for you. Unpacking without a crying baby...not so bad...enjoy it while it lasts.

Heh! It's a townhouse not an apartment! Man, you buy a house and everything else is just trailer trash... !) I am so excited for you guys! Don't get too comfortable... yet =) I miss you already!

I enjoyed Heather's comment, I laughed. Don't complain too much at least you have a few months to get organized. Mary Ann and I moved in a week before our wedding.

Oh my goodness. I couldn't agree more, but I'll just say it. I HATE MOVING...with a passion. We just moved and it's only for a couple months and then we have to do it again! Just wait until you guys move together after you've accumulated all this stuff and then add a baby and all their stuff. At least it's usually worth it in the end...unless you're like me and it's a temporary place. WAAH!!! :-)

Laura was bothered by the picture on my blog because she kept thinking all the kids were mine (MaryAnn's two were with my four) and kept wondering which "one" did she miss. I decided not to tell her she was actually missing two, and that they were both Mare's...I just changed the picture.
