Heading to the Farm

Ah...the fall festivities continues!  I super duper like a good pumpkin patch and we found a good one in town.  It's a fully functioning farm with lots of fun things to do.  We paused for a quick photo or two at the entrance with all the perfectly big and beautiful pumpkins arranged nicely.

And, this is what really happens when I try and get some photos.  They can't be bothered with looking at the camera when there is just so much going on.  Pumpkins and tractors and chickens OH MY!

And then they wonder why in the world I'm making them sit on this bench.

Until the awesome big chicken comes by.  Or is that a rooster?  How do you tell the difference?

They were however more than happy to put their heads through the pumpkin holes.  And I was more than happy to take some pictures.

Ben loves the animals.  I love this picture because it shows Isaac grabbing Ben.  He was nervous for Ben.  Ben was putting his hands through the fence and Isaac was much more cautious about it than Ben.  It was cute.  Isaac really like the animals as well just with a little more distance.

Oh my word...this face!  He was just eager to get to the playground and smiled as fast as he could before running off.  I love it!

Then Ben needed a turn.  He always wants to do whatever Isaac is doing.  Which also made it a little difficult to take pictures because he was then preoccupied with the car Isaac was riding in and kept looking that way instead of at the camera.

In one side...

and out the other.

I liked this hay mountain.  I think once the boys realized they could climb on it they loved it too.

Off to pick our pumpkin from the field.

Found one!  The pumpkins out in the field are certainly more picked over and it's hard to find one that isn't rotting, but it's also really fun to pick it off the vine.  We did find three decent ones and then let Ben pick one more from the bunches of pumpkins at the front.  He chose a really fun mostly green pumpkin.

These boys had a blast running through the fields and checking out pumpkins.

I love this picture of Isaac pulling the wagon and Ben straddling the pumpkins.  He was determined to make sure the pumpkins didn't roll around and fall off the wagon.  He took his job very seriously.

And that's a wrap.  Three pumpkins, Isaac helping dad pull the wagon, and Ben leading the way.  Adorable.
