I am sooooooo cheeeeesy and because growing up I was a dancer and loved music we had to have a song on our wedding that was OUR song. "The power of love" Celine Dion. For our first year anniversary Michael surprised me with tickets to her concert in Vegas, after I heard the song in person there was no doubt left in my mind that it was our song and that she was singing it out us. :D
In life it's pretty cheesy to hear people say it, but I think everyone does, even if they don't admit it. John and I have a whole CD plus some...but I'll let John spill the rest.
It's funny to hear all these confessions about ladies listening to teeny bopper music on your block Sandy. I will add my own confession, I love that stuff.
My couple songs? Well, let me tell you. I've had one for the last 3 boys I've dated. Don't go home, say what you need to say, Living La Vida... I just think of those boys when I hear those songs. I don't think they'd know those were our songs.
I don't know if it is officially "our song" but The Lady in Red was one that Darrell had dedicated to me LONG ago and we danced to it at our wedding. Honestly, I would be surprised if he answered the same if we asked him.
Not officially. Someone else told us our song was an oldie... so happy together... I think is what it was. There was also a song by some teenage artist with long blond hair and raccoon-eyed make up about traveling hundreds of miles just to be with someone. I can't even remember the words anymore. You're dad might be able to guess it. Anyway, it was new at the time I drove out to see Mike at Camp Pendleton just before he shipped off to the Iraq war. I relate the two so I would consider that a possible "our song" song.
Yeah, I don't know if we just choose it or what, but our song (we danced at our wedding to it) is Van Morrisons' Have I told you Lately That I love you? We also have a couple of other cheesy songs that rank near that one, but it is tops. Why do you ask?
I think you'll remember that I surpirsed Scott by picking "our" song and having my cousin sing it at our wedding reception--"Bless the Broken Road." So do you and Jacob have a song?
Our song is a song that kept playing on the radio everytime we got in the car while we were dating/engaged.(since he was in SL and I was in Provo we drove A LOT!) It's by Chicago, "will you still love me?".

We don't have a song. It would be nice but we don't dance and lately only listen to Hannah Montana.

Nope. How about you guys?
I don't know if it is officially "our song", but I have always considered it so. It is "I'm taking you home" by Don Henley
Yah, I think I married the most un-romantic guy on the planet. So no, we do not have a song. Plus, I think all I listen to lately is radio disney...

"You've Made Me So Very Happy" by Blood Sweat and Tears. But then you already knew that and no, I don't think it's cheesy!

I don't think we really "have" one, but one that reminds me of Jared is "When You Say Nothing At All" by Allison Krauss. It fits us.
